More Information

Raden Wellness is currently out of network with your insurance provider. However, we have a process in place to help you navigate this smoothly. After your appointment with our provider, you will receive a superbill that includes diagnostic codes. This superbill can be submitted directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your out-of-network coverage.

It’s important to check with your insurance regarding any out-of-network deductible that may apply in your case. Additionally, for laboratory services, we collaborate with Health Labs, who will bill your insurance and handle the processing, ensuring that these costs are covered according to your plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Raden Wellness is a progressive, functional medical practice that focuses on the preventative approach to healthcare. We believe that through objective and comprehensive testing, our world-class practitioners can curate individualized wellness plans that empower our patients to achieve peak health and vitality. Our goal is to help individuals take charge of their health and reverse the effects of biological aging. We use functional medicine to create optimal function in all subsystems of the body such as the immune system, hormones, metabolism, detox system, microbiome, and structural system. Our approach is rooted in the belief that chronic diseases are not predetermined outcomes and can be reversed with the right approach. We are dedicated to helping individuals achieve optimal health and vitality, and to ultimately, extend the lifespan. Our team of experts is committed to providing the best possible care and support to our patients.

Integrative medicine combines conventional Western medical practices with evidence-based progressive therapies such as advanced protocols, nutrition, and mindfulness, to treat the whole person. It also incorporates functional medicine, which focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness through personalized, science-based treatments aimed at optimizing long-term health and wellness.

Once registered for our patient portal, patients may schedule appointments via the “Appointments” tab within the portal, or by contacting our office. Online scheduling for both new and current patients will be available early in 2025.

Please feel free to reach out to our office if you are uncertain of which practitioner you should see. Our team will gladly work with you to match you with the best practitioner by taking your symptoms, goals, and concerns into account.

Follow-up appointments are necessary to review labs, discuss progress, and make adjustments to treatments, therapies, and/or protocols. Raden Wellness feels strongly that each patient has unique needs, goals, and symptoms, and therefore, the treatment plan and follow-up recommendations will differ depending upon such criteria. We recommend discussing your plan with your practitioner to ensure alignment in the plan for your future, and encourage patients to remain informed at all times. When treating ailments from an integrative, functional, and/or holistic perspective, we must also consider that we may need to be patient with our bodies, and allow them to adjust to changes gradually to ensure the most reliable and long-lasting results.

Our bodies differ constantly depending upon the foods we eat, our stress levels, and the insults we may be exposed to on a daily basis. Our bodies are constantly striving to keep us safe and alive, and we must, at times, consider that we need to provide our bodies with the time necessary to reverse the condition they have been placed in.

All practitioners at Raden Wellness choose to utilize objective testing to determine the best protocols, treatments, therapies, and/or medications for patients. Rather than focusing on symptoms alone, we strive to find the root cause of the issue, and to provide patients with lasting relief.

Raden Wellness is out of network with all insurance providers. However, we provide patients with superbills to submit to their insurance company for reimbursement. Our lab is HealthLab through Northwestern Medicine and is available at both our locations. The majority of labs may be submitted directly to insurance through HealthLab, although some exceptions may apply. Many of our third party laboratories have their own billing processes, however, we can typically provide CPT codes for certain tests upon request.

Both our Lincoln Park and Highwood offices have HealthLab through Northwestern Medicine onsite to perform testing for patients. Lab draws must be scheduled appointments. Please contact our office to schedule an appointment. Alternatively, lab orders may be sent through Quest Diagnostics and/or LabCorp if preferred. Or, patients may also take a copy of their lab order to another facility if preferred.

Dr. Musec is no longer with Raden Wellness and has transitioned her practice to Here & Now. She will still be a liaison to Raden Wellness, as she is still seeing patients interested in Ketamine therapy. Ketamine therapy is provided with Raden Wellness.
