A Medical Breakthrough
At Raden, we believe that ketamine is one of the biggest breakthroughs in the field of psychiatry.
Ketamine targets NMDA receptors in the brain. Ketamine binds to these receptors, thus increasing the amount of a neurotransmitter called glutamate in the space between neurons. Glutamate activates connections in another receptor called the AMPA receptor. This sequence of steps leads to release of BDNF, which provides the antidepressant effect of Ketamine. Classic antidepressants induce BDNF-related changes following several weeks of administration. In contrast, Ketamine administration rapidly (within 30 min of administration) induces a rapid increase in BDNF levels. BDNF signaling was shown to be necessary for Ketamine antidepressant actions.
We recommend six guided Ketamine sessions over two weeks.

“I have found permission to fall apart. Permission to not be okay. Permission to not always be “on.” Permission to hold up radical boundaries. Permission to put yourself first…I was guided to a Board certified holistic psychiatrist who led me to [this treatment], an administered psychedelic that allows you to rewrite past trauma, while healing your physical body and reactivating your brain. It was transformational and life changing, and I’m thrilled to report that I am back”

Benefits of Ketamine Therapy
THE RADEN DIFFERENCE
- Works rapidly: benefits often appear within minutes to hours
- Helps patients with a variety of mental-health concerns: While the majority of antidepressants target one of the “monoamine” neurotransmitters, such as serotonin, norepinephrine or dopamine, ketamine targets glutamate, the brain’s most common excitatory chemical messenger. Its therapeutic applications apply to a broad range of disorders.
- High rate of success: Raden has a current success rate of 80-90% of individuals. Our integrative approach to ketamine therapy benefits patients as they learn to navigate emotions, and reach emotional breakthrough.
- Not taken daily: Unlike most medications, Ketamine infusions are done within a six treatment cycle, which avoids unwanted side of effects of long-term medication,
The Raden Approach: How it Works
Our recommended six-sessions allow for one to build upon the next, helping patients go deeper into intentions, discover new areas of self improvement, and continue to tackle areas or goals in life.
Raden has on-site therapists that are trained in guided Ketamine therapy. We also partner with outside therapists and psychologists, allowing for patient’s to keep their own therapist during treatment. This integrative approach to ketamine therapy benefits patients as they learn to navigate emotions, and reach emotional breakthrough. The combination of guided therapeutic sessions along with our ketamine infusions truly is an incredible tool.
