Raden has been working to understand how to best serve you during this pandemic, and over the last few months, it has become clear that testing for both active and past infections is the key to reopening our community safely. Raden is committed to using the most up-to-date and best resources for our patients.
Raden offers testing for both active and past COVID infection. We are utilizing RPP SARS COVID-19 nasal swabs and Roche Antibody testing which offer the highest sensitivity and specificity rate on the market.
Rapid Antigen Test:
Raden is excited to offer a rapid COVID-19 test that allows patients to get preliminary screening test results the same-day. This test is available strictly as an add-on to patients who are getting a PCR test, as it is considered to be inferior when it comes to accuracy. We have found the rapid test gives peace of mind to patients who want initial results immediately, but need to administer both tests to guarantee an accurate result.
PCR Nasal Swab:
RPP (Respiratory Pathogen Panel) uses an advanced pathogen panel to detect COVID-19. It is a comprehensive assay that detects with a greater than 99.9% accuracy.
Roche Antibody Testing:
Determines if an individual has previously been exposed to the virus and has developed antibodies. This test provides 99.8% specificity, which is greater than previously available antibody tests. The blood draw will be administered by Health Lab phlebotomists and sent to our in-house lab for testing.
Designed around your needs, we excel at personalized testing - where and when you need it most. Whether it's your office or ours, we make COVID testing fast, easy, and accessible.
We have formed a partnership with a privately held diagnostics lab to bring you the most accurate COVID 19 testing (99.9% accuracy) with results generated in 2 to 3 days.
Antibody Test Fee: $59 with insurance and $89 without insurance
PCR Antigen Covid Test Fee: $59
Rapid Covid Test & PCR Antigen Test Fee: $150
Test fees are non-refundable charges from Raden Wellness for processing lab orders, safely collecting the specimen(s), processing rapid test, and providing results through our patient portal. All positive results receive a practitioner’s phone call to answer questions.
The PCR Antigen Test is sent to our partner lab who will either bill your insurance or invoice you directly if non-insured ($100).
In general, the actual PCR test is covered by insurance in accordance with the CARES act.
SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) testing. Private health insurance plans are required to pay for such testing, without cost-sharing by enrollees, by the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), assuming the testing meets the requirements outlined by the Department of Labor (DOL), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Department of the Treasury (collectively, the Departments).
The Guidance confirms that insurers must cover all FDA approved or EUA authorized COVID-19 testing – including at-home COVID-19 tests, multiple tests, tests for active COVID-19 infections and tests for COVID-19 antibodies – determined to be medically appropriate for the individual by a health care provider “who is licensed (or otherwise authorized) under applicable law, who is acting within the scope of the provider’s license (or authorization), and who is responsible for providing care to the patient.”
As quarantine lifts and businesses reopen, Raden is here to support your return to work efforts with strategies to ensure a safe working environment for your employees. Come back strong by screening all employees for active infection, past infection, or both - turnaround time for both tests is just 24 hours.
If you can't make it to our office for testing, no worries. We're flexible on how to best serve your team meaning we can bring our health-care providers to you for on-location testing or you can visit us at our office located in Highwood, north shore of Chicago.
Pricing is dependent on the number of tests administered and the testing location.
